As the year goes by, it is possible to go through each day getting stuck in our challenges without noticing the good things that also happens. So, to start this year, I will be undergoing a 30 day New year, New you, gratitude challenge. This is to enable me focus on the good things in my life while healing from crisis or challenges.

In times of crisis it is hard to be hopeful.. But it’s not impossible—and may be the key to mentally surviving a crisis like this.

It is possible to see only the problems without actually seeking for a way out. Today’s action is to give yourself kudos for everything little thing you achieve for yourself today. I have been enjoying the videos on dancing through crisis challenge. So, today’s focus is self love. Love yourself and pamper it. You can do this by taking part in relaxing exercises, yoga meditation or just sleep. Also, you can speak positive affirmations to yourself. How to overcome resistance to change
The constant thing in life is change. I love change like a shift in career or moving in with a new partner. However, some kind of changes are difficult to adapt to.
And just like everyone human being, my natural instinct is to fight that change. One of such change is the frequent lock down of cities causing the finances to thin out. This is because there is restricted movement. It is had to do business without mobility.
So, today’s action is to write down all the things in 2020 that happened to you that are bad. Tear the paper to move past them. Out with the old, in with the new!!!!.
Tips for taking care of yourself in Crisis
Today marks the last of the crisis challenge program that I partook in the last few days. So, today’s talk is on how to take care of yourself during a crisis.
The below tips will help greatly show yourself love during a crisis.
1. Daily exercises: Exercise releases endorphins that make your nerves relaxed and improve your sleep. So, exercise daily for a healthy body.
2. Self-love: show yourself, love, by telling yourself words of affirmation and positive words. Celebrate the little wins of life as you await to overcome bigger mile stones in line
3.Practice Optimism: A pessimistic person sees problems while an optimist sees solutions in difficultly. There are so many challenges in this world but optimism makes you see clearly in hard situations.
