Kenya
Kenya is the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Picture this: you’re waking up to the sounds of the African savannah, the air crisp and fresh, ready to embark on a thrilling safari in Maasai Mara.
I remember my first trip to Kenya, and the sight of elephants grazing on the horizon still stays with me. After the safari, head to Diani Beach to unwind. Its white sand, crystal-clear waters, and palm trees will make you feel like you’re in paradise. Trust me, you’ll leave a piece of your heart in Kenya.
One of my top highlights of visiting Kenya is the friendliness of the locals. They were so welcoming, leaving me with a heartwarming experience. To me, I had found a home away from home.
Morocco
Morocco always has a way of making you feel like you’ve stepped into a different world. I’ll never forget wandering through the bustling souks of Marrakech. I was in awe and got lost in the maze of colors and smells. I mean, the spices and traditional crafts in Morocco? You can tell my curiosity was at an all time high during my visit.
My top highlight during my trip was spending a night under the stars in the Sahara Desert. The quiet of the desert, interrupted only by the occasional camel, is something you simply have to experience for yourself. If you’re looking for a journey that awakens the senses, Morocco should be at the top of your list.
Namibia
Namibia is one place that sits on the top of my bucket list of places to visit in Africa. From the pictures I have seens, I can tell it is like no place I have ever been before. One thing that endears me to this country is the vast and dramatic landscapes of the Namib Desert which are very mesmerizing.
The wildlife at Etosha National Park is also something that intrigues me. I would also love to visit the towering dunes of Sossusvlei. If you’re looking for something truly unique, Namibia is the place to go. It is a destination that will leave you in awe of nature’s beauty.

Ghana is an absolute gem, and it’s always at the top of my list for a soulful holiday. Anytime I’m looking for a quick holiday, Ghana is always my go-to option!
I remember the warmth of the people in Accra, the colorful markets, and the rhythm of the music that fills the streets. But it’s the history of the Cape Coast Castle that really tugs at my heart.
Walking through the very halls where slaves were held before being shipped off across the Atlantic is a moving experience, one that makes you appreciate the rich history and culture of this beautiful country. Ghana is perfect for those who want to connect deeply with both history and modern African life.
I also love that they have an active nightlife culture.

Many people say Egypt is a country where history comes alive! I mean, they are not wrong, especially when you think of the Pyramids of Giza. You must have seen pictures of these Pyramids, but I can tell you that they are even more magnificent in person.
When you are in Egypt, I recommend spending a day cruising the Nile and visiting temples and ancient tombs that date back thousands of years.
