Meryl Streep outfits were a hit back-to-back at the Devil wears Prada 2 premiere red carpet

The first time I watched the devil wears Prada on Netflix, it was just for the fashion. I love movies that gives us style lessons back-to-back. And this Netflix show didn’t fail to give us the looks. And of course, the devil wears Prada 2 premiere red carpet already gives us a hint that the fashions on this show will always be a hit.

When I heard of a 2nd part to this show after a decade, I was like give it to us. Yes, I love how the main character Andy Sachs was able to blend and find alliance in a competitive fashion job. Man, even me I would have quit having a boss like Miranda was hell. But Andy made it work. And of course, when Andy lives start to crumble under her, she felt she lost herself while re-inventing a new persona. This persona- I love a lot.

Anywho, now that that the show is having a sequel, I am here for the plot twist. Will Andy go back to the Magazine? Will she accept that her new persona is still her? I am curious and you should too.

Now let’s get into the Devil wears Prada 2 premiere red-carpet looks that eats.

This stripe dress has been on my mind for a while. I just love stripes in any form. Especially in the typical black and white color. Any other color of stripes is not my forte. The way Anne Hathaway rocked this look simpe yet elegant is to die for. The style of the dress is already doing the talking. So minimal accesory just works fine.

When they say someone is wearing couture and still look wearable, yes! This look by Elieen Gu is to die for. The way the collars are high and delicious makes want to take the dress off her and wear it. I wish I could loan this for a future red-carpet event. Love this look. It is so couture-Esque and I love it.

I would love to take style lesson from Meryl Streep. Oh my Gosh! I love how she is able to just pull off any look effortlessly. A red cape is not my forte, yet she makes me want to reconsider shopping more red pieces for my closet. I love the styling of this look with the black leather gloves that works just fine for this look.

Denim duster anyone? Sign me up. I love denim for street style but for red carpet, I could never. Ciara made this denim look combo look so chic for red carpet. However, shorts? Maybe a pair of skinny jeans for me. That is if I am to style this look. Or simply a denim dress with sharp collars.

For the devil wears Prada 2 premiere red carpet, I haven’t seen so much red on the red carpet in a long time. Yet, I am not bored at all by the sight. Take for instance, this other look by Anne Hathaway is chef kiss. The pencil skirt with a slip in front and the leather jacket, sign me up. Love her choice to contrast the all-red look with black heels. Even the choice of hairstyle just works fine.
