In my last blog post, I compared Temu and Aliexpress in terms of which is cheaper. Trust me, I will say 50/50. Now I want to do a Temu haul review of some the items I recently got to my closet. I will delve into what is the best thing to buy and things you have to pay close attention to before you add to cart.
Temu is now one of the most popular fast fashion brands that have dusted the likes of shein or aliexpress. However, Temu is not just for fashion but a hub for anything you need. From house hold organizers to Gadgets or games, there is a lot to shop for.
Here is my unfiltered honest review of Temu and of course, you decide if you want to give them a try or pass.

Temu haul review.
Temu is another of my favorite place to shop for fashion accessories. Why may you ask? Their accessories option always hit. However, for clothing, I do not shop it from Temu. This is because of the current exchange rate in Nigeria. When I convert it from USD to Naira, my heart skips. But if your currency is as strong as USD, sure temu clothing is cheap.
How to shop from Temu
Temu website is very easy to navigate. You can choose to shop on the website for any category of your choice. Also, you can download the Temu App to sign up.
One of the advantages of downloading the Temu app is the flash deals and huge discounts. They typically send push notifications when there is a sale ongoing or a huge discount.
I will not recommend you add an item to cart and leave it for days. This is because there is always price increase that applies days later. You may see it when there is a flash sale and be excited about it. However, after you get your coins together days after, the price will have gone higher.
One way to still get the item is to check other stores as there are varying price ranges for the same item. So I will say, when you have your money sorted, scroll through and get the best deals there is.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping on Temu is quite fast. In Nigeria it takes at least a week to get your order delivered to you. These items I shopped took just one week. Although, on the app, they may give a later date. However, the items typically comes faster than the proposed date.
Plus, if your items are delayed, you get a free store credit of 1,6000naira. Which to me is a plus? However, I would rather get my items in time than it be delayed.
Temu Haul review
Since I started shopping from Temu, I have only shopped two categories. Accessories and gadgets. Accessories is one of my favorite things to shop on Temu.
Temu bags are quite affordable and of great quality. I was amazed at the quality of my recent handbag purchase from Temu. This makes me want to shop more bags from Temu.
It is a small evening bag or dinner bag that can pass well as a day bag. This bag gives the vibe of Jacquemus handbag with the metal detail attached. I loved the fact that I opted for the deep chocolate color instead of black. The color is just as described on the picture.
The next items I got are jewelry. I am still not sure how this jewelry will wear. I got a necklace and two chunky bracelets. The bracelets are super cute but too big for my hand. Which is no surprise as I have a small wrist. Now I know to stick to simple bracelets or tennis bracelets when shopping online. Not just from temu.
The last item I got is a fancy pin. This pin has been living rent free in my head. I knew I will get a lot of wear from it. However, for now, I have not really used them to say much about them.
My final thoughts on Temu are that you should stick to accessories or gadgets. Their gadgets are of great quality for the price offered. My Type C OTG that I got from them has served me so well. Also, I have my eyes on the home organization items too. The ads are everywhere of how good they are so. So, I will say maybe I have been influenced or not.
