Growing, I love to experiment with prints and patterns. I love to style them. Until one day, a boss of mine said you can’t mix prints and patterns. Reason: It is against the fashion rules. Who says? Here are cool girls ways on how to mix prints and patterns like a pro.

Not all advice are needed in your life. I stopped experimenting with fashion and prints. Looking back, I want to give her a lecture on how to mix prints and patterns. Also, If she is not comfortable with it, doesn’t mean its not cool or not working.

My favorite prints are floral, fauna or leopard prints. Leopard print is a classic that never goes out of style. It is one of summer 2024 fashion trends the girls are eating up. Mix polka dots and Stripes

One of the cool ways to mix prints and patterns is to wear polka dots and stripes together. Remember to note that the colours should complement each other or colors that goes well with each other. Below is how I styled by black and white polka dot shirt with a mini stripe skirt.

This is a very subtle way to mix prints and pattern. You can also wear a leopard print pants and a matching stripe pants. It depends on what you love.

The accessories can be a hat or rings or bracelets with patterns and prints.

Prints of the same color but different sizes

This is a super fun way to mix prints and pattern like pro. You can wear a subtle print with a bold print. Also, you mix large pattern with small pattern e.g. Large pattern and polka dots.
