If you have been following 2025 fashion trends, you can tell that maximalism is in. The extra-ness, colorful designs are all in. Also, we are taking cues from retro archive styles of the 80s and 90s.
One of such style is the 90s sunglasses with one of the hottest sunglasses trends I am living for. If you were into your celebrities back in the day, the dark shades are a thing. It is a perfect mid-size sunglass, dark and just right.

I must say that I do love the dad sneakers trends. This along with dad sandals was my vibe in 2020. But now, I will say though they are out, I will wear them still. It is the perfect mix of androgenous yet chic style.
This year, it is all about very flat soles, and mettalics which I am here for. Mettalics in outfits, i will definitely pass on. However, metallics in sneakers are my cup of tea. Let’s jump right in.
High tops sneakers
Converse sneakers are true high top sneakers to know. However, they are not the only options in the market. High top sneakers are in for 2025. It is the perfect mix of boxer style sneakers but make it chic. Love it down.
This style of sneakers is perfect for maxi dresses, skinny jeans and even mini dresses. Although the high top may make it seem difficult to style yet it is a cool style to love.
Mettalic sneakers
The Rennaissance era gave an ode to mettalics. Everybody pulled out their silver mettalics for the tour. Imagine if you had a mettalic pair of sneakers for the concert. I love this style of sneakers.
As a maximalist, I just basically avoid it for now. This is because, I love to have things that work well for my closet. But gold or silver metallic sneakers are cute.
Retro style sleek low soles
I am not a fan of adidas sambas, but this brand has these cute low sleek sneakers. It is a very chic and comfortable. If you need a pair of sneakers that are flat and easy to walk in, this style is just right for you.
These styles of sneakers are perfect for your Pilates classes or sport. However, if you want to give sporty yet chic vibe or tennis-core, this is perfect.
Sneakerinas
Let’s be real, I totally hate this trend. I love ballet flat but in sneakers not so much. Gosh, this style of sneakers for me is a no-no. There are debates about if this trend is worth it or an ugly trend to join. However, for me, I don’t think it is a trend that I want to hop on.
This sneaker trends is something that I feel will just last in one season or maximum two. And after then, I doubt if I would be confident to wear a dated trend like this. But who am I? The fashion gods say sneakerinas it, and we move with it.

You didn’t think that colors will not be part of the list. Girl, really. Since this is the year we boldly buried quiet luxury, maximalist is here to stay. We either go big or go and the sneaker trends are reflecting it. Bold color sneakers are in right now. From burgundy to butter yellow, fun colors are cute to add to your closet.
