The Criteria to be a temu influencer is not as high as you think. Irrespective of your follower count or engagement level. You can still sign up as Temu influencer.

- YouTube (long form or shorts)
The above are the 3 major ways to sign up as a Temu influencer. For me though, I preferred YouTube. First because I have high engagement and secondly because, I have two options: YouTube content or YouTube shorts.

How do you make extra cash as Temu influencer
The billion-dollar question that is probably going through your mind right now is how do you earn? Afflilate market takes a while before you start earning. So, how long will you start earning.
The answer is as soon as possible. Temu offers you a sign up credit which you can use to shop for items and join campaigns immediately. You can shop for fashion pieces, gadgets or even home organization or decor pieces. Anything you want, shop it and start your campaign immediately you receive your items.
There are two ways you get paid by Temu;
- Credit for shopping
- Cash payment that is paid out once you reach the threshold.
How do you earn: Create content for the brand. You can create up to 10 contents and earn the amount you see displayed on your dashboard. The review takes some days yet once completed, you start earning once you have 3 approved posts.
Another way to earn as Temu influencer is through Affiliate market. You can either share what you’re loving on your store front or share your discount code for campaigns you sign up for.

What are the terms and conditions to follow as a Temu influencer
Like I said earlier, I didn’t earn for the first two months. Why you ask? Because I didn’t read the terms and conditions. The blueprints were there but I was too eager to earn as soon as possible.
Below are some of the terms and conditions to follows before you start posting your content.
- Temu hates black backgrounds on the sides of your content. Editors like Inshot typically create a frame that is black around your videos. Solution: Use blur background or simply edit with capcut
- Read the terms and conditions: I later found out that 2 youtube shorts is equal to 1 approved youtube video. If you create more shorts, that means it will take 6 youtube shorts to earn as 3 approved post.
- You can share you shorts on other social media channels. But It didn’t improve my earnings. So, I’ll pass and concentrate on the channel that I used to sign up i.e youtube
- The content has to be published in the month of consideration to even reviewed. That is a content published in December cannot be used in January 2026. Vise versa.
