Red carpet looks is my favorite past time hobby. I love the chic moment and the bleh moment. One look stood out for me, Janelle Monae Grammys red carpet look. It is simple yet chic. Here is how to incorporate it into your day to day.

However, since New York fashion week 2025 is ongoing, I will look out for them.

One easy way to recreate this look by Janelle is by going to shop the designer. However, this is a look you can recreate in your day to day.
This you can do using pieces in your closet to create similar style or silhouette. The power suit she is wearing is a male suit that sits oversized on her body. If you love oversize suits or masculine suits, you’re sorted.
The next thing is to play with jewelry for this look. On closer inspection, the beret style male hat has jewelry made into it. Also, the blazer has a jewelry from the side to side. It gives it the illusion of a long chain necklace. This you can replace with a long chain necklace.
She also opted to go without a shirt or camisole in the suit. This type of look is something you wear for casual outing. For work or more modest look, add a button shirt: linen, silk or satin or even cotton shirt. Add a long necklace and you will have similar vibe.
The pant also has a jewelry attached to it similar to a bag charm or key chain in gold. This you can recreate with a chunky necklace, a gold key chain or a bag charm in similar design. And voila you have a similar look for your day to day.
